Location: Mons, Belgium

Duties & Role:
• Provides Enterprise Service Operations Centre (ESOC) Level 2 network support.
• Manages daily network operations, including ticketing, incidents, work orders, changes and problem management.
• Supports network optimisation, capacity planning, upgrades and lifecycle activities across enterprise environments.
• Configures, optimises and troubleshoots routing and switching protocols, including BGP, OSPF and STP.
• Monitors network health using CA Spectrum, Splunk and other monitoring platforms.
• Creates dashboards, alerts and operational reports to support network monitoring and service delivery.
• Analyses logs and telemetry data to proactively identify risks, incidents and performance issues.
• Improves operational efficiency through automation of configuration management, backups and change validation.
• Utilises network monitoring tools to track availability, latency, bandwidth and device health.
• Leads incident response for critical outages, coordinates stakeholders and restores services within SLA targets.
• Acts as the senior technical escalation point for complex network issues and strategic initiatives.
• Maintains accurate documentation, standards and operational procedures for the network environment.

Requirements:
• The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance.
• Minimum CCNP certification, Enterprise or equivalent advanced networking certification.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering and operations.
• Strong expertise in routing and switching, including BGP, OSPF and STP.
• Experience with Splunk for monitoring, log analysis, troubleshooting, dashboards and alerting.
• Hands-on knowledge of network monitoring tools.
• Experience with incident management, root cause analysis and major outage resolution.
